how to stop food cravings? not pregnant wanna lose weight?
well i wanna lose some weight im not that fat just put on half a stone and i just feel uncomfortable with my stomach it just feels too big. but i constantly get really bad cravings for things like bread, crisps etc though i dont really eat sweet things i always crave savoury things

You are eating the wrong foods. You should be eating lots and often, but the foods you eat should have a high fullness factor.
Pancakes are fantastic! The are low in calories, high in complex carbohydrates, and are bulky and satisfying. The thing that makes pancakes fattening is the syrups and toppings we use.
There’s a great miracle food called okara, that’s a by-product of making soymilk, that adds to the bulk or pancakes, muffins, cookies, etc and reduces the calories. Problem is you can’t buy it. How soon do food cravings start if you are unsure if you are pregnant?
I am 2 days late on my period at this moment. And for about a week straight, I craved the hell out of salad with honey mustard dressing on top. And it had to be SOAKED in dressing! I hate honey mustard dressing, and I never put that much of any dressing on my salad. And I can stop eating! Constantly!
If I were to be pregnant, I would probably be about 3 weeks right now.

You can’t use food cravings to determine whether or not you’re pregnant … Normal non-pregnant individuals have food cravings. I never had food cravings with either of my pregnancies.

Anyone else have weird food cravings (non-pregnant related)?
Ever since I had olives as an appetizer back in October 2004, just served in a little bowl, I cannot get enough of them, I was buying a jar every week or so and eating them – almond stuffed, plain, blue-cheese stuffed, marinated, etc. – they are high in salt and not very good for you in large quantities, but I just can’t stop wanting them all the time. I’m pretty heathy and don’t lack vitamins, I just *crave* them all the time.
Who else has got that one food they can’t get off their minds???
Oh I’m the same way, I now live in Canada and it is not as easy to get somethings here as it was in the USA, I get cravings for star fruit, many people dont know what they are, but oh I love them, just to slice and eat or to cook with, made a wonderful porkchop dinner with the star fruit and rice and such, our friends claimed they didnt like star fruit, well need less to say they ate the dinner and then enjoyed fresh cheesecake with starfruit on it and didnt see them pushing it away… I think we all go thru phases of craving certain foods at times, now that I seen the green olives well ya know what I’m headed to the store for .. Lol
Dealing with pregnant food cravings?
OMG! I can not stop eating today. Then some days I’m too nauseous to eat at all. But today I had a chef salad at waffle house, hot wings philly cheesesteak pizza, oh grilled cheese with bacon in it, and I’m really really really craving cheesecake ice cream with strawberries and graham cracker crust and also some lima beans with rice ham and cornbread and I could really go for some tuna stuffed shells with pickles in them too. Does anyone else do this? I’m almost 8 weeks, and it’s like if I don’t crave it, I can’t eat it. That will be all day I can’t eat. Then when I eat, I can’t get full and I keep thinking of what I should eat next, and I don’t stop.
Well, I’m not pregnant anymore, but. . . When I was pregnant (atleast in the beginning) I had a strong craving for the mashed potatoes from KFC. Don’t ask me why? I had to have corn, cheese and gravy on the potatoes. Haha. I ate there everyday for a whole week.
I also had to have not only the pickles, but the juice. I’d drink the pickle juice from the jar. Just had to HAVE it. Teehee.
