Mark asks…

I need to find a suit for my dad. He is short, and lifts weights so he has a thick upper body?

My dad needs a suit. I want to get one as an early anniversary gift for him. But I am having so much trouble finding one for him. He has lifted weights for several years and he has a very muscular upper body. But he also has a beer belly. Where would be a good place to buy a suit. I am trying to avoid custom made because it is so expensive.

Drae answers:

I have an uncle who is very tiny and he just puts his measurements into ebay and buys his clothes there. He never has a problem. Get your father’s measurements and try ebay. Hope this helps!

Mary asks…

what kind of bathing suit would look good on my body type?

I am 5’5, 140 lbs, and am a 34C. my appearance is thin but curvy around my hips (my legs arent the thinnest)… what kind of bathing suit would look good on my body type? it seems more difficult to find bottoms than tops because i have big butt and i dont want love handles in my suit haha. i am also a swimmer so i am more muscular around my arm and chest area.

Drae answers:

With a larger cup you should avoid triangle tops. They don’t give flattering support to bustier women. As well as the fact, that you said you swim, you wouldn;t want anything that just ties together.
Too accentuate your hourglass shape, a halter bikini top gives you the support without maternalizing your suit.
Bottoms again, no tunnel or string bottoms. Boy shorts provide complete coverage to the hips and bottom area. And tell you the truth, boys favor boy shorts over thongs, so to give you the hint boys find boy shorts sexier then someone with a riding up string bottom.
If you’re leaning towards something more revealing for tanning wise, hipster bottoms would also be a good bet. Which have thick straps across the hips, so it won’t dig into your hips creating love handles.
Experiment around, easy way to find out what looks best on you.,

David asks…

What kind of bathing suit would go with my body type?

I’m 5’5 and my measurements are:
bust: 36″
waist: 27″
hips:36″

I have a little pooch on my lower belly, but it really isn’t emphasized until I bend over or sit down, and I’m quite shy about it :T My thighs aren’t fat, but rather on the muscular side, and my butt is proportionate. What kind of bathing suit could I pull off?

Drae answers:

You have a perfect hourglass figure. I would get a halter top to better support the girls and a bottom that comes up a little higher on the tummy. Not a lot, but enough to hide the little pooch. You’ll look awesome!! ; )

James asks…

What bathing suit will flatter THIS body shape?

I’m five foot three and I weigh 104 pounds
I have longish legs that are wide (not REALLY wide) but muscular
My torso is short and I have a toned, carved stomach
Im generally pretty thing all around

What BIKINI shape will elongate my body and make me look taller
By taller I specifically mean to elongate my short torso
I prefer bikins

Thanks!

Drae answers:

I have the same problem! I’m pretty small overall but was in power lifting so I have kind of muscular legs and and my torso is a little bit short from scoliosis. The best thing I’ve found if u wanna rock a bikini is low rise bottoms (makes your waist area longer in comparison to your legs) and a deep V neck halter top (gives you a longer neck line). Hope this helped! :)
