My Training Philosophy

I believe in being upfront about everything I do.   Clear communication and trust is essential.  My goal is to push you harder to achieve your goals than you would naturally do by yourself.

Your attitude plus my knowledge and support is all you need to achieve your goals  


Below is a short list of my person training simple philosophies in working with clients.  As an amateur bodybuilding competitor, I get what it takes to train hard to achieve success.  So I would not ask you to do anything that I am not willing to do myself.  

Hard work mixed with patience and persistence shows results

Nutrition and good eating habits are more important than the gym

Conditioning is as important as cardio and weight training

Don’t expect a quick fix to any goal.  It take hard work

I know you might be thinking only four points?!    Well if I wrote anything more, we wouldn’t have anything else to discuss at our consultation meeting would we? (Smile)

 

What are My Training Session Like?

Each session usually lasts about an hour. The first meeting is devoted to assessing fitness level, body measurements, exercise and health history and goals. Be prepared to step on the scale, have your body fat tested and answer specific questions about your goals. After that, you’ll spend each session doing cardio, weight training, flexibility or other activities depending on what your goals are. I  will show you how to do the exercises, help you figure out how much weight to use and give you pointers for getting the most out of each exercise.
